Very kind inside, and an amazing place for the Midlands Coin Fair to be hosted.

If you have even a passing interest in motorcycles, the National Motorcycle Museum is well worth a visit. It has an incredible collection, covering everything from early British bikes to modern classics. You can tell a lot of passion has gone into curating it, with hundreds of beautifully restored machines on display. The focus is almost entirely on British motorcycles, which makes it a unique experience compared to other transport museums. You’ll find legendary names like BSA, Triumph, Norton, and Vincent, along with some rarer models you might not see anywhere else. The sheer scale of the collection is impressive, and the attention to detail in the restorations is second to none. It’s not the most interactive museum, so if you’re expecting lots of hands-on exhibits or high-tech displays, you might be disappointed. It’s more about appreciating the bikes and their history. That said, the information provided is well-researched, and if you take your time reading through it, you’ll walk away with a real sense of how important British motorcycling has been over the years. There’s a café on-site which is decent enough for a quick break, and the museum is easy to get to, with plenty of parking. It’s probably not a full-day trip unless you’re really into bikes, but for anyone with an appreciation for classic motorcycles, it’s a must-visit.

I just popped in as I was absolutely desperate for the loo. Bless them, they let me in, even though they were closed, and allowed me access to their disabled loo. Nuff said...

Been planning to visit for some time from Manchester.I was looking for information on an old photo of my father on a Motorbike in the 1950,s . Although staff couldn't identify the bike they had a "Vincent black shadow " from the late 1940s that looked very similar and I recall my father saying he had a "black shadow "so a interesting and productive visit with some great bikes with a good variety of older British motorbike + great information displays...well worth a visit😁👍✅

Amazing. Absolutely rammed with exhibits of all types and local manufacturers. You’ll learn something. Staff are great. Cafe serves soup, panini, sausage rolls, pasty looking things, decent tea and coffee and cake. Normally Victoria, carrot and chocolate.

Relaxing and enjoyable walk around history, my only advice would be to wrap up warm as the building is very cold which I was by the time we'd finished

Visited the cafe and shop. There’s a few bikes to see in this “free” area and well worth a visit.

So many pristine, beautiful bikes but you can still get a whiff of engine oil and fear. Not cheap but well worth it
